Sidney Poitier is the nineteenth in my "Everyday Saints" series. Icon, legend, and real world everyday saint.

This piece is done on a 12x12 cloth then mounted on a 12x12 frame for hanging. A mix of sequins, embroidery, paint, and seed beads.

Sidney Poitier KBE was a Bahamian and American actor, film director, and diplomat. In 1964, he was the first African American actor and first Bahamian to win the Academy Award for Best Actor.
